From small jobs to large ones

With a large range of machinery, we can carry out work of all sizes for many industries. All machining and fabrication is done in house, and we also work on site.

Turning

2 CNC lathes and 6 conventional lathes, holding work up to 1 metre in diameter.

Milling

3 CNC flat-bed milling machines and 2 conventional flat-bed machines.

Slotting

1 large and 1 small slotting machine.

Drilling

2 large radial arm drills.

Welding

A separate fabrication building next to the workshop, for all sizes of work, with TIG, MIG and gas welding.

Fitting

A large fitting area with a 150-tonne press, a 2-tonne overhead crane and a band saw.

On-site work

When a job can’t come to the workshop, we go to it, with a 24-hour, 7-day response to any location our customers need.

Cardiff Engineering Company was set up by a group of former Leckwith Engineering employees to meet the engineering needs of local industry, in particular Celsa, Welsh Water, Neal Soils and Tarmac.

Our workshop is in Tremorfa, not far from the M4 corridor, so we can respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to any location our customers need.
